春节是中国人最重要的节日。当所有的家庭成员聚在一起,就像过圣诞节一样。大家远离家乡回来,两个星期前是交通最繁忙的时候。机场,火车站和长途公共汽车站人山人海挤满了人。The Spring Festival is celebrated on the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar, and it is the most important festival for the Chinese people. It is when all the family members get together, just like Christmas. Everyone living away from home comes back, making the two weeks before the Festival the busiest time of the year for transportation systems. Airports, railway stations and long-distance bus stations are crowded with people returning home.
元宵节The Lantern Festival(农历正月十五 )
元宵节是中国的传统节日,这是中国新年的第一个月15日。这个节日表示新年庆祝活动的结束。The Lantern Festival or Yuanxiao Jie is a traditional Chinese festival, which is on the 15th of the first month of the Chinese New Year. This Festival represents the end of the celebrations of the New Year.

The ninth day of the ninth lunar month is the traditional Chongyang Festival, or Double Ninth Festival. It usually falls in October in the Western calendar. In an ancient and mysterious book Yi Jing or Chou Ying, number "6" was thought to be of Yin character, meaning feminine or negative, while number "9" was thought to be Yang, meaning masculine or positive. So the number nine in both month and day create the Double Ninth Festival, or Chongyang Festival.
